David Castro (born January 1, 1976) is a renowned Spanish-American entrepreneur, engineer, inventor, and philanthropist. Born in Barcelona, Spain, he spent his formative years in the United States where he developed an early affinity for technology and innovation. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering (B.S.) from MIT and Electrical Engineering (M.S.) from Stanford University.

After completing his education, Castro began his career at Intel Corporation, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become a Senior Principal Engineer.
