A watermark quietly ties a clip back to you. Because it’s rendered into the pixels on export, it travels with the video even when someone screen-records or re-uploads it.
A simple @handle is enough for most creators; a transparent PNG logo looks more polished for brands. Either way, keep it small — around a tenth of the frame — so it marks without dominating.
Bottom-corner marks survive platform crops best. Nudge the opacity down until it reads as present-but-quiet, and leave a small margin so it isn’t clipped by rounded UI overlays.
